Man makes anti-Semitic comment at Dave Portnoy during pizza review

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was the target of an anti-Semitic comment while filming content in Mississippi on Friday.
Portnoy was recording one of his famous “One Bite” pizza reviews outside of what appeared to be Boardtown Pizza in Starkville, Mississippi, when a passerby hurled the phrase “Fk the Jews” in Portnoy’s direction. This comment was immediately condemned by the crowd outside the restaurant.
“Why don’t you come on camera, buddy?” Portnoy, who is Jewish, responded by motioning for him to come closer, according to a video posted on X.
The man then walked towards Portnoy and his cameraman, and the two then had an inaudible face-to-face exchange before the heckler finally walked away.
“It was horrible,” one woman can be heard saying during the video.
“Fuck you, get out of here,” another shouted at the person who made the anti-Semitic comment.
The man who made these comments has not yet been identified.
Portnoy is in Starkville and creates content at Mississippi State, with Boardtown Pizza being close to the university’s campus.
This is the second time this year Portnoy’s Faith has been targeted while recording one of her pizza reviews, with another person making the same comment to her during a shoot outside Terrazza in Toronto in June.
“See, it’s gone, it’s gone,” Portnoy said after the person then yelled at him.
Some fans in the background started laughing, causing Portnoy to scold them.
“What the fuck are you guys kidding about?” ” Portnoy said, turning to the fans, who then fell silent. “Exactly. So here we go, one bite, everyone knows the rules. We won’t let that happen…what’s Toronto hospitality there?”
“It’s terrible, terrible,” said Bill the Greek, who accompanied Portnoy on his trip to Canada.
