Major AEW Name Makes Surprising Prediction For John Cena Retirement Match

A major name in AEW made an interesting prediction about John Cena’s final match in WWE. The legend will end his in-ring career tomorrow during Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Gunther emerged victorious in the Last Time is Now tournament and will face the 48-year-old in his retirement match tomorrow night. Speaking on his Grillin Jr. podcast, AEW commentator and WWE legend Jim Ross predicted that Gunther would beat Cena in Saturday night’s main event. Ross suggested that The Ring General winning would be the right thing to do and predicted that it would be a great match.

“I hang my black hat on GUNTHER. I think it’s the right thing to do. He’ll be there. He’s a key member of the roster… If you didn’t do Lesnar, GUNTHER is a great choice for Cena’s last match, and they’ll have a dandy, no doubt about it,” [H/T: Wrestling News]
