The events that take place throughout Alien: earth Episode 5 will inform the rest of the brilliant Hulu series, which is already called a science fiction masterpiece.
Alien: earth Episode 5, which is entitled based on the slogan of the 1979 original film, “In space, no one can hear you scream“” Also reveals that, although he was a cyborg, Morrow was once a father. Unfortunately, Morrow learned during the eighth year of Maginot’s trip that his daughter died in a house fire at the age of 19. This key detail explains why Morrow put everything in his mission to return the specimens to Yutani, whatever the cost.
Chief engineer Petrovich concluded an agreement with the Kavalier boy to crush the Maginot in Prodigy City
Although Morrow initially suspected Rahim and the robot Teng to be saboteur aboard the Maginot, the real conspirator turned out to be the chief engineer of Petrovich. Although it was not his intention to release extraterrestrial specimens, because it would be the prey as well as the rest of the crew, the fire and the explosion he triggered released two xenomorphs. The other extraterrestrials who escaped, however, did so using their own intelligence and misleading skills.
Teng told Morrow that it is not because the “mother” computer says that a cryo-pod is full, it does not mean that it is all the time. This means that Petrovich pretended to be in cryo-sleep and had left his pod and had somehow hacked the computer to remain unteashed. Petrovich hid inside the mechanical areas of the ship, started fire and triggered the explosion. It seems that the Teng has retained this information and knew the saboteur but chose to be silent.
Petrovich skipped a hole in the Maginot after set fire to the ship’s engine controls. As Atom Eins says, these setbacks transformed the Maginot from a space ship to a missile and, ultimately, an arrow targeted on earth, because they lost all navigation control. Morrow discovers that this is exactly what Petrovich had planned, organizing the landing accident with the Kavalier boy, who promised him a massive salary if the Maginot landed in the kingdom of the Kavalier boy.
Thanks to a video call that was recorded in Maginot’s digital records, Petrovich concluded an agreement with the Kavalier boy, which allowed him to crush the spacecraft in Prodigy City, knowing that it would kill thousands of people. Petrovich spoke to the Kavalier boy of extraterrestrial specimens behind the back of his Weyland-Yutani team. Citting the ship in the Kavalier boy’s kingdom was the only way to make sure that specimens would be on its territory.
Petrovich expressed his frustrations with regard to the crew, the mission and the “paperwork” as an employee of Weyland-Yutani to the Kavalier boy, who fell into the ears of a deaf. He was mainly encouraged by the fortune he would acquire by sabothing the mission of Maginot and carrying it on the lawn of Prodigy. Petrovich also wanted a “new body”, apparently hearing the hybrid innovation of Prodigy which gave birth to Wendy and other lost boys.
In the end, the betrayal of Petrovich led to no vain, because Morrow kills him towards the end of Alien: Earth Episode 5. His last words, “You can’t stop it. They want their monsters“Are vague in Morrow, who do not yet understand the whole plot, but clearly refer to the Maginot, to the Kavalier boy and to Yutani.
MORROW did not save Captain ZAVERI after an epic pursuit of xenomorphic for a key reason
Alien: earth Episode 5 until now offers the most epic and classic chase Xenomorphic scene in the series. With most of the crew’s deaths, a disturbed captain Zaveri sinks into his own mode of survival and runs away from a fully cultivated xenomorph, only to end up being killed by this as we see in the first episode.
After an epic battle between an xenomorphic and the specimen of the eyeball, the scene of the tragic death of Zaveri of episode 1 was again played. As she knocks on the door of a security pod, Morrow does not let her enter. He seals the door, buying time to prepare for the impact of the Maginot on earth, knowing that everything he could do was to keep the dear life.
Even if the next day is humanized as never before Alien: earth Episode 5, his decision to use Zaveri as a bait for the xenomorph was calculated and with cold blood. Its mission was to preserve and contain specimens, not to monitor other members of the crew. Although Morrow may not have wanted to leave Zaveri, it was his duty as a Maginot security officer to do so. Anyway, there was only enough space in the impact room for one of them, so trying to save Zaveri would have been useless.
In the last moments of Alien: earth Episode 5, Morrow also turns out to be deeply faithful to Yutani because his grandmother generously took him and gave him a new arm, replacing his paralyzed and making him a cyborg. He also swore to kill the Kavalier boy, insisting on Yutani that Prodigiy is not suitable. The use of force will be the only way to recover these specimens, by creating a violent prodigy v. Weyland-Yutani, led by a morrow without restriction in the future episodes of Alien: earth.
