On November 12, 1996, Apple announced plans to open a chain of Internet cafes. The idea was abandoned at the end of 1997.

People who buy [the iPhone Pocket] often seem to like their entire outfit, from shoes to handbag, to be by the same designer or coordinated by different designers whose clothes they think go together. While these same people might be attracted to the iPhone because it’s the most prestigious, I think they’d be more interested in it coordinating with their outfit rather than because it’s the most capable phone.

As for applications still using Rosetta, I can name one: Toast 20 from Roxio. This is the DVD authoring software released in 2021/2022 (or maybe even earlier) and last updated in 2023. Incidentally, I’m probably the only user in the world.
