“But I think that when you prepare these guys enough and communicate enough with these guys and give them a plan and an idea and a theme and a motivation, they don’t really need motivation, but the theme causes the team’s cohesion.”

The attention to details was the key to the fifth victory in Europe on American soil, Donald citing the conditions of the hotel, the use of data to choose the pairs of the four balls and the quartets and even different shampoos.
All of this contributed to an unprecedented lead of seven points for Europe before the last day and they showed great character to refuse the United States a memorable return.
“Europe has played better than us and deserved to win. It’s a big team,” said United States Captain Keegan Bradley Sky Sports Golf.

So will Donald continue for 2027?
Bernard Gallacher was the last captain of Europe to occupy the role of three consecutive years in the 1990s and the players are clearly eager for Donald to continue.
The next Ryder Cup takes place in Adare Manor in Ireland in 2027 and Donald was invited Sunday evening if he would continue for another spell.
“My answer is that I’m going to take advantage of it tonight,” he said.
Obviously, Donald did not want to keep the spotlight away from his team’s victory, again showing his humble personality and not wanting to take too much credit for the victory.
