Luis Suarez received an additional three -game ban by Major League Soccer after spitting a member of the SENDERS in Seattle security staff after the League final.

Stronger Inter Miami received a six-game ban on the League Cup games following the incident after Javier Mascherano’s men were beaten 3-0 in Lumen Field on August 31.

And MLS has now announced that Suarez would serve an additional suspension of three games, excluding him from championship matches against Charlotte, Seattle and DC United.

Suarez was at the center of an post-match fight, putting the midfielder from Seattle to Obed Vargas in a head of the head before crying and spraying on the director of security Sounders Gene Ramirez.

Suarez apologizes

The former Uruguay striker apologized for his actions four days after the final, writing on Instagram: “It was a moment of a lot of tension and frustration, where just after the end of the match, things happened that should not have happened, but that does not justify my reaction.

“I made a mistake and I sincerely apologize.

“This is not the image I want to give before my family, who suffers because of my mistakes, in front of my club, which does not deserve to be affected by something like that.”

It was the last incident of a career strewn with poorly recommendable moments that will tarnish the 38 -year inheritance.
