New York – The right -hander of the Boston Red Sox, Lucas Giolito, is expected to miss all season with an elbow injury, said manager Alex Cora on Tuesday.
Giolito had already been excluded for the Boston Joker series against New York Yankees before visiting an Alabama doctor on Tuesday. Giolito received a relatively good news – the tests have not revealed any structural damage, so he will not need surgery – but Cora characterized his chances of tripping in 2025 as “thin”.

Giolito would have started match 3 of the Wild-Card series if the game is necessary. Without him, the Red Sox should start the left Recruit Connelly early.
