Love & Lemons Cooking Club – August!

Join the Love & Lemons Cooking Club challenge this month! It is easy to enter and a lucky winner will receive a price. Find all the details below.
Our cooking club is a fun way to celebrate the community of love readers and lemons. The concept is super simple – every month, I choose a recipe. You do it and leave a comment on the recipe blog post. At the end of the month, I randomly select a winner to receive a prize.
I love the meaning of the community that comes from so many people who cook a recipe every month. We are launching our August challenge today with our homemade salsa recipe, and I hope you are enjoying pleasure. Here’s how it works:

The price: a gift card of $ 100 Foods!
At the end of the month, I will randomly select a winner and share some of your photos. This time we give a $ 100 gift card Whole Foods.
In addition, for each entry that we receive, we will give a donation of $ 1 to any hungry child.
This month, we are doing homemade salsa! I love to do this salsa of fresh tomatoes in August. He uses two seasonal peak vegetables – Tomatos and Jalapeños – and has a wonderful fresh and shiny flavor. It also requires zero cuisine. It meets in 10 minutes in the food processor!
- If you are sensitive to spices, You have some options to make a softer salsa. Remove the seeds and ribs of the jalapeño, or start with only 1/2 jalapeño instead of a whole. If you want to avoid chili completely, replace the jalapeño with 1/4 small green pepper or jump it.
- If you don’t have a culinary robot, You can make this recipe in a mixer or use an immersion mixer. Just be careful not to mix it too much. The salsa should be slightly large, not a puree.
Serve it as a dive with tortilla croustilles, or add it to the tacos, to the Burrito bowls, and more! I hope you like this salsa as much as I do. 🙂

Recipe last month
Last month, we celebrated the start of the tomato season by making this Panzanella salad. I have to give a huge cry to the readers of L & L Laurie, Shelly, Rosalie, Terre, Adrienne and Tracy, who have all used homemade bread! I am so impressed! I bet it made this extra-delicious salad.
Thank you to everyone who joined too! We have seen a lot of fun twists and turns on this recipe, including the version of Sarah with plums and corn; Ilona’s version with mint and Aleppo pepper; And the version of Kim with dill, roasted chickpeas and a shell.
Here are some of your photos:
And congratulations to our Natalie winner!
