‘Love Is Blind’ Stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux Split After 4 Years of Marriage

Alexa posted their joint statement on Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, explaining that they were ending their marriage after four years.

The former couple met in season 3 of love is blind and married on camera in July 2021. They welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, in July 2024.

The statement began with the couple sharing “after much thought and many heartfelt conversations,” they made the “difficult decision” to divorce. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with great care, respect and appreciation for the time we shared.”

“We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and for the growth each gained along the way,” the statement continued. “Although our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of each other, devoted to our daughter, and committed to moving through this transition with compassion.”

They asked for privacy, as they “move forward and focus on [their] individual routes while keeping [their] precious daughter as our top priority.

The former couple met on the Netflix dating show. Alexa previously told PEOPLE how she credits the show for playing an important role in their relationship.

“I don’t think Brennon and I would have met outside of the show, although I hope fate would have intervened,” Alexa tells PEOPLE. “[LIB] allowed us both to communicate and really show off each other.

In July, Alexa posted on Instagram to mark their fourth anniversary.

“Happy 4 years to my lobster, thank you for being my person,” she wrote. “I never thought I could love someone the way I love you and I am lucky every day that this love makes the most perfect girl.”

“You always give me butterflies and make my heart skip a beat,” Alexa continued. “I’m so grateful for the love, laughter, adventures and priceless memories we’ve already made and we can’t wait to make a million more ❤️🥂✨.”

During their marriage, they welcomed their daughter and exclusively shared their exciting pregnancy news with PEOPLE in January 2024. A few months later, they exclusively told PEOPLE that they were welcoming a baby girl together.

“Our perfect daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, born July 31, 2024. She has mommy’s hair and daddy’s dimples and we couldn’t be more in love 🩷,” the couple captioned an August 2024 Instagram post.

Celebrating Vienna’s first birthday, Alexa posted an Instagram carousel of parents and toddler.

“Happy birthday to my smallest but greatest love,” her message began. “Thank you for healing my heart…I’m always in awe that I have the chance to know you, let alone be your mother.”
