Living in the world of the world of Trump – TPM – Memo on discussion points

I wanted to return once again – I hope once again – to the question of what the Democrats should demand in exchange for their votes on a continuous resolution.

Over the years, I have mentioned in various articles that Trump’s world is not only winning and did not lose. It is the domineering world in which the only type of victory is if the other guy loses. The entire concept of Trump’s “transactions” is based on this idea. The concept of an agreement that works for both parties is foreign to it. His version of offers is the one in which he wins, in which he puts something on the other guy or the forces or puts him in a good deal. This is the key to understanding his entire career in business. And as we know much more strongly, it is the essence of its policy. He wins and you lose. Or to put it more specifically, any work arrangement is that in which it dominates. He is in charge.

It is not a great way to manage a civic policy. But as I say in the title of this post, for the moment, we live in the world of Trump. And democrats must operate within it.
