Liverpool prepared to move away after the initial rejection of Alexander Isak rejected

Liverpool would be willing to abandon his pursuit of Alexander Isak during this transfer window after an initial offer of 110 million was rejected by Newcastle.
Several points of sale reported that the Reds did not intend to submit a second offer for the attacker, who is estimated at around 150 million pounds sterling by the Magpies.
The 25-year-old, who scored 54 impressive goals in 86 Premier League games since he moved northeast of Real Sociedad in August 2022, was excluded from the Eddie Howe team for the Newcastle pre-season tour in Asia.
The club said that Isak’s absence was due to a “minor injury to the thigh”, but that reports emerged shortly after which said that he wanted to explore a moving from St James’ Park despite the qualifications of Magpies for the Champions League of this season.
The Swedish international is currently training alone at the base of his former employers in Spain in the midst of continuous uncertainty around his future.
It is believed that Liverpool is the favorite destination for Isak and the offer of the Premier League champions of 110 million pounds sterling for the player remains on the table.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has already made a number of additions to his team during what was a big summer of spending from the Anfield club.
Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Armin Pecsi all arrived at the club for a combined total of around 265 million pounds sterling without additional modules.
Meanwhile, the departures of Luis Diaz, Jarell Quansah, Caoimhin Kelleher and Trent Alexander-Arnold recovered 115 million initial sterling pounds.
Newcastle, on the other hand, failed in its pursuit of several targets this summer. Ekitike was watched by the club, while Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Bryan Mbeumo and James Trafford all rejected a move to St James’ Park.
Tynesiders can always call on a new attacker, which Isak remains with Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, who is also sought after by Manchester United, apparently on their list of wishes.
