Liverpool obtains an encouraging Isak update through the comments of Eddie Howe

Newcastle United Manager Eddie Howe has published a revealing update on the future of Alexander Isak, recognizing that the club has no total control over the next stages of the attacker.
During a revealing press conference held in Seoul during the pre-season, Howe confirmed that although Isak remains under contract until 2028, a substantial interest of Liverpool complicated Newcastle’s position.
Howe confirmed that he wanted Isak to remain but conceded that the strong desire of the player to leave could force a different result.
Eddie Howe is updated by Alexander Isak
“He is always our player. He has contracted … We, to a certain extent, control the next step for him,” said Howe, as Sky Sports reported. However, he admitted: “It is not in my total control.”
Liverpool could offer around 120 million pounds sterling, making record costs for Newcastle.
This comes after Liverpool sold Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich and believes they have the firepower to put pressure for Isak as a marquee signature. Isak himself would be eager to join Liverpool and agreed personal conditions in advance, according to Sky Sports Switzerland.
The frank admission of Howe marks a moment of the watershed in the Isak transfer saga.
Negotiations that should start soon, the situation quickly changes to one of the most crucial transfers of the summer.
Liverpool receives encouraging signs to take a step

The long -standing interest of Liverpool, associated with internal disorders in Newcastle, suggests that a decision can be imminent.
This would further solidify Liverpool’s claim to defend its Premier League title next season following the signatures of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.
Isak submitted a transfer request to St. James’ Park this summer and is not currently part of the team’s pre-season tour. He wants a move this summer and despite the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, the Swedish wishes to move to the champion of the Premier League Liverpool.
