Liverpool Edge closer to the major signature after having fought the competition from Manchester United and Newcastle
Eintracht Francfurt rejected Liverpool’s initial offer to striker Hugo Ekitike.

The result means that Alexander Isak, who was Liverpool’s first choice, is now likely to stay on Tyneside with Arne slots recommending all her attention on strengthening her front line with Ekitike, 23.
