The manager of Liverpool, Arne Slot, has spoken out on the superb work of the club’s recruitment team to obtain the transfer agreement of Alexander Isak on the line.
The Swedish international ended up joining Liverpool from Newcastle United at the end of the transfer window in a British record contract.
Isak has established himself as one of the most beautiful attackers in Europe during his stay in St James’ Park, and he should be a very exciting addition to Slot’s Squad.
The Dutch tactician, speaking during his press conference today, granted a great credit to Richard Hughes and other key LFC chiefs to be able to finish an ambitious signature late in summer.

As quoted by Fabrizio Romano in the X post below, Slot said: “What I like most is that we get Isak’s agreement on the line. Richard, property, everyone worked so hard for the agreement to be concluded. We must build it gradually. We have not signed it for the next 2 weeks, we signed it for six years! ”

Liverpool fans will be impatient to see Isak making his debut for the club, but Slot’s words may suggest that this will not necessarily come this weekend.
The Reds face Burnley in their next Premier League match, and Isak may have to be satisfied with a place on the bench to start.
Even if the 25 -year -old is the kind of player you would like immediately in your team, it is also true that he is unlikely to be entirely in good shape.
As we know, Isak attended the pre-season preparations for Newcastle and the first games of the new season, he will therefore need a little more time before being fully aware and giving his best in a Liverpool shirt.
