Liverpool would have contacts with Napoli today on the potential transfer of Darwin Nunez, center-forward of Uruguayan.
The Giants of Serie A wish to sign Nunez this summer, while their search for a new signature also led them to consider the Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that there will today be direct contacts between Liverpool and Napoli to discuss Nunez’s agreement, although it seems that it is not necessarily planned to be easy to do.
Romano posted: “Understanding Napoli and Liverpool will have direct contacts today to discuss the conditions of the Darwin Nunez agreement. Negotiations are still at first sight, but Napoli had the green light from Nunez, as revealed in recent days … and the agreement depends on financial requests now.”

Nunez was not at his best during his stay in Liverpool, scoring only 40 goals in 143 appearances.
On the other hand, the 26 -year -old found the back of the net 48 times in just 85 games for his former Benfica club.
