Lil Nas X will be imprisoned during the weekend after his arrest early Thursday morning, a representative of the Los Angeles police service confirmed to The Hollywood ReporterAfter the rapper was caught up in the wandering camera in the streets of Studio City, almost naked and apparently delicious.
The LAPD says that Lil Nas X, whose real name is Mono Hill, will be imprisoned until Monday, citing “load 69 (a) PC” a penal code to resist or hinder an officer. “The judgment (hill) cannot be cited,” said the LAPD in an email. “It is compulsory that he appears before a judge before his release. This will happen on Monday.”
Lil Nas X is imprisoned in Valley prison in Van Nuy. We do not know what his current state is. The rapper’s representatives did not respond to a request for comments.
Lil Nas X was captured for the first time by TMZ at the early hours of Thursday morning, walking in the street on a almost empty Ventura boulevard, wearing only underwear and a pair of white cowboy boots.
In a declaration at THR The LAPD said yesterday that Lil Nas X “charged with the officers and had been placed in police custody”.
“He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and was arrested for a battery against a police officer,” said the LAPD.
Lil Nas X, who released his Days before Dreamboy The EP in March, had trouble with health problems throughout 2025. In April, he shared an update on social networks saying that he had undergone partial facial paralysis. A month later, he had to cancel an appearance at the head of the poster for the West Hollywood music festival from West Hollywood. A source tells THR That a similar mental health problem had helped him withdraw from the event. As the cancellation was announced, the festival said in a statement that “we were in close contact with Lil Nas X and its team concerning a current medical problem”.
“After my recent visit to the hospital, I – as you should all – I have to prioritize my health and return to 100%,” said the rapper in a statement at the time.
