Liga MX reveals the bold all-star kit 2025 with club mascots and icons

Last week, Major League Soccer Revealed their jersey for the 2025 mls All-Star game – A clean white design with blue and green accents paying tribute to the original brand of the league.

Now, their opponents during the day, Liga MX, have dropped their kit – and that could not be more different.

Made by Charly, the Liga MX All-Star kit is anything but subtle. Bold, colorful and proudly noisy, the shirt is directly inspired by the mascots and icons of the 18 Liga MX clubs.

The jersey is built around a lively green base, echoing the Mexican flag, with asymmetrical black details – including a lion for the León club, a hairless dog for the Tijuana club and the Fox fur motif for Atlas FC. The result is a brutalist and abstract design – a portable collage of the Liga MX identity.

A large liga MX Wordmark is proudly on the chest, while a separate logo crosses the upper back. A solid black shoulder panel houses the Wordmark Charly, positioned just above a green, white and red tricolor bar.

Charly also unveiled a hit orange goalkeeper kit, with a different tonal print but a similar aesthetic – designed, like the exterior version, to stand out.

“We wanted to make sure that each person who goes to the game supports his team and always identifies with this jersey,” said Gerardo Lango, director of the design of international clothes at Charly.

The 2025 star match takes place on July 23 at Austin FC Q2 stadium, where MLS’s best talents will compete against the best of Liga MX.

With the two leagues divided by history, culture and football philosophy, they are now visually held – both ready to make a statement.
