Before in Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 5, Chris Smith has chosen to leave the main reality of the DCU, believing that he was never intended for this world which constantly gives him bad breaks, in particular with Argus approaching all sides. Now, season 2 of Peacemaker, episode 6 takes place largely in this alternative dimension, while featuring a major Superman appearance.
D&D Cutpurse
Adrian Chase’s mother reveals that she joined her son’s D&D campaign when he did not have enough players, confirming that she is a level 4 cutpurse (otherwise known as a low -level underground thief).
Collection and stretching Beanie for Vigilante Baby
It seems that Vigilante has joined the enthusiasm of the Béanie Béanie collection with a cupboard full of stuffed animals and the conviction that the market is about to explode. He also says that Stretch the ostruch is the cutest (a quick search on Google confirms that it is also precious).
Xenomorphic
Once again making the Kyphotic stranger in the quantum unfolding chamber, John Economos refers to the other dimension as a “xenomorphic”, a reference to the classic monsters of the Stranger franchise.
Nice dream
Rick Flag Sr. calls on Belle Reve, the maximum security prison of the DCU for metahumans (and the traditional basin for the majority of candidates of the X -shaped workforce X of Amanda Waller).
The reverse picator
Economos refers to the Chris Smith of the Alt-dcu as “reverse perception”. It is more than probably a reference to the reverse flash of DC, to the enemy of the arc and the opposite of the flash of Barry Allen.
Mick Jagger and the Beatles
While speaking with Harcourt of groups like HELLOWEEN, Keith Smith reveals that Mick Jagger was the main singer of the Beatles in this reality, instead of the Rolling Stones.
Joy
To love each small change in this new reality, the justicular becomes absolutely crazy on a box of cheerios (and its subtle change of name in this alternative reality).
Spider-man pointing of the same
During their first meeting, the double vigilants make the meme “spider-man pointing”, not only canonizing Spider-man as a fictitious character in the DCU but also the meme of 1967 Spider Series that has since become synonymous with several adventures of multi-life superheroes. The same was notably presented in both Spider-Man: No time at home and both Spider movies.
Lex Luthor
Rick Flag requests the help of none other than Lex Luthor of Nicholas Hoult. Luthor is incarcerated in Belle Reve, as was teased at the end of James Gunn Superman. He also showed with a cane, the result of the brutal beat he received from Krypto Le Superdog. We can also hear the Lex “Luthorcorp” theme, heard for the first time in Superman, While he sits down.
“Vigilant? Who gives like ***?”
Lex Luthor reveals how much non -fueled vigilants he cares, believing that they are not a threat to metahumans like Superman. Obviously, he has not yet had a significant meeting with Batman in the DCU.
