Let’s not forget who was really Charlie Kirk

The murder of the right -wing provocator Charlie Kirk is a tragedy. But the response augurs even greater tragedies for American politics. Even while democrats and progressives rushed to deplore the murder, the law rushed even faster to blame the left for his opposition to Donald Trump and his authoritarian movement, a sustained movement to the handle by the turning point of Kirk USA.

Kirk was entitled to his opinions and the way he expressed them, even if he did not support this right for others. He founded Professor Watchlist, committed to distinguishing the academics whom he believed to be discriminated against against conservative opinions, scholarships and students, causing threats to some of the appointed instructors.
