Les bags Alyssa Thomas de Mercury recorded the 3rd triple-double in row

Alyssa Thomas collected 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to become the first WNBA player with three consecutive triples consecutive, and the Phoenix Mercury beat the Indiana Fever 95-60 Thursday evening for their third consecutive victory.
Thomas obtained his 19th triple -double in career – no other WNBA player had more than four – with 3:47 to play on a pass by the pointer 3 points from Dewanna Bonner. Thomas has 41 points, 33 rebounds and 32 assists in his last three games.
“Just a huge honor,” said Thomas. “Lots of credit for my teammates. They helped me get this one tonight. But being for the first time, not many people can say that about anything.”
Bonner finished with a 23 -point top. Sutou Sabally had 15 points and eight rebounds, and Kahleah Copper scored 11 for Phoenix.
The 35 -point victory was Mercury’s third margin of victory in the history of the franchise. At 19-11, they equaled their total victories last season (19-21).
“Just look into each other,” said Thomas when he asked him about the current series of the solid game team. “We have had a lot of adversity this season, injuries and things of this nature. I think we are just starting to hit our second wind.”
Sophie Cunningham scored 18 points and pulled 5 out of 8 over 3 points for Indiana (17-14). Kelsey Mitchell added 12 points.

Phoenix caused his advance to 53-44 at the start of the third quarter after Cunningham had made a 3-point on consecutive property. But the Mercury responded with a 14-0 race, crowned by a pointer of 3 by Sami Whitcomb, for a 23-point lead with 2:39 to do in the third.
Indiana went more than four minutes without scoring in the third and finished the quarter with 11 points.
The series of the season is a tie 1-All, with the last regular season meeting on September 2 in Phoenix.
