Leo Woodall joins Rachel Weisz in the Netflix Limited ‘Vladimir’ series

Leo Woodall should play in front of Rachel Weisz in the next Netflix Limited “Vladimir” series, Variety learned.

The show was initially announced in March with an order of eight episodes and is based in the novel Jonas by Julia May of the same name. Woodall will play like Vladimir. The official line line line stipulates:

“While the life of a woman (Weisz) takes place, she becomes obsessed with her new captivating colleague (Woodall). Lots of sexy secrets, dark humor and complex characters,` `Vladimir ” concerns what is happening when a woman is in hell to transform her fantasies into reality.”

This will mark Woodall’s second main role in a Netflix Limited series based on a book. He previously played the main male role in the 2024 “One Day” series in front of Ambika Mod, the winning show of strong critical praises when it was released. Woodall is perhaps better known for his role in season 2 of “The White Lotus”, while he was also in programs like “Prime Target” on Apple TV + and “Vampire Academy” in Peacock. His film roles include “Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy” and “Cherry”.

Jonas adapts his book for the screen and also serves as an executive producer of the series. Weisz will produce executive products in addition to playing. Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg and Kira Carsten Executive produce via Merman along Jason Winer and Jon Radler from Small Dog Picture Company, as well as Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.
