Jamie Vardy will make her 500th and last appearance for Leicester City in his penultimate game of the home season at Ipswich Town Sunday (3:00 pm BST), the club announced in a decision to ensure that “the important opportunity” takes place at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester closes their campaign in Bournemouth on May 25, but the farewells of the legend of the Vardy club will arrive a week earlier, the Foxes asking fans to arrive early and stay late to “give the goat [greatest of all time] the referral he deserves ”.

The captain of the city Vardy, who was an integral part of one of the biggest sporting shocks of all time when Leicester won the title of high flight 2015/16, described himself as “eviscerated” while announcing his release in front of the Premier League trophy in April.
The top scorer of 38 years of the Premier League for the club also helped Leicester to win the FA 2020/21 Cup and the championship in 2014 and 2024.
Leicester was relegated alongside Ipswich and Southampton and Vardy could face them next season if rumors are exact of a move to Wrexham, which was promoted in Ligue 1.
