Leeds United signing James Justin strongly cried by Jeff Stelling

Leeds United started the season with a victory and a defeat in their first two games of the season.

The whites beat Everton 1-0 in their first game of the season with Lukas Nmecha scoring the only goal of the match while their second confrontation in the League was absent from Arsenal which ended with a 5-0 defeat for them.

Daniel Farke has made several new signatures this summer and some of them have already made the difference.

Nmecha has shown that he had the ability to lead the attack while the club has great hopes of Noah Okafor who joined AC Milan.

Leeds United Signing criticized by Jeff Stelling

Leeds also signed James Justin de Leicester City while they are looking for more competition in the right back position.

However, their signature of Justin was criticized by the football smit Jeff Stelling.

In conversation with Ally Mccoist on Talksport, Stelling said that Justin was a good player, but his current form is not impressive.

The stelling said: “James Justin was a very good player, good enough to win caps in England, but he has struggled for the form in the past two seasons, I think that’s just to say.

“I am not tried in Justin, but what I think Leeds desperately needs is a signature of a marquee – they really splashed the money, they bought many players for seven, eight, nine and 10 million pounds.

“I think they have to bring a Jack Grenish type figure, someone you know, fans can really be excited.

“And as well as Justin does it, fans will not be enthusiastic to sign a great-back.”

He may not be the most attractive signature for Farke and his team, but he offers experience and depth at the back, which whites are desperately needed if they want to survive in the Premier League.

Leeds has learned from their past experiences that you need a deep team to survive in the Premier League and that is exactly what they work to improve.

Fans may not be too excited by the signature of Justin, but the manager will like the security he now has at the right back.
