Leeds United was linked to a decision for Argentinian midfielder Nicolás González.
The player joined Juventus in the summer of 2024 on loan with an obligation to buy, and the Italian giants have since permanently signed it for 43 million pounds sterling. However, they are ready to let him go this summer to finance a decision for Jadon Sancho.
West Ham was also linked to Gonzalez.

Nicolas Gonzalez wants to leave
According to Sports media Journalist Gianni Balzarini, González wishes to play regularly before next year’s World Cup, and he wants to be sold. A move to Elland Road could be ideal for him, and Leeds wishes the player.
“You ask me questions about Sancho, Sancho is still there, guys. Sancho is still there. Now, I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s part of the personal assessments,” said Balzarini, on his YouTube channel this weekend.
“What is true is clearly linked to the possible departure of Gonzalez, who now seems to have asked to be sold, so be careful, it seems that he has asked to be sold precisely because he wants to play in the World Cup.”
Leeds could use Gonzalez

He has the qualities to prosper in the Premier League, his versatility being a major asset. Comfortable on one or the other side, he added rhythm and creativity to the side. At the top of his career, it could be the right time for him to take up a new challenge.
González is little likely to want to sit on the Jeventus bench, especially if Sancho arrives. The Turin Club will aim to recover a large part of its investment in the coming weeks.
Leeds hopes to succeed in the Premier League next season, and they hope to put pressure on a respectable finish. They need quality players, and the Argentinian is certainly good enough to help them improve.
