The Punisher returns. Jon Bernthal is accompanied by vigilante once again for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, the latest adventure of Sony and Marvel web.
Bernthal was first part of Punisher, alias Frank Castle, in the 2016 Netflix series “Daredevil”, becoming a fans favorite before playing in his own spin-off series “The Punisher” in 2017, which lasted two seasons. He recently returned to this role earlier this year in the Disney + series “Daredevil: Born again”. It should appear in the second season and return for a special Disney + 2026 centered on Punisher by director Reinaldo Marcus Green.
“Spider-man: Brand New Day” marks the fourth film centered on Peter Parker by Tom Holland, after the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” directed by Jon Watts, “Spider-Man: Far from Home” (2019) and “Spider-Man: No Way Way Home” (2021).
