Fire and Ash obtains two new Empire magazine covers highlighting the villain of Oona Chaplin Varang

The first trailer for Avatar: fire and ash currently plays in theaters before The Fantastic Four: First steps. He disclosed online in HD a few weeks ago, but Disney quickly moved to shoot them down (don’t worry, however, because an online version seems likely for Monday).

In the meantime, we have two new Empire Magazine covers highlighting the Ash People / Mangkwan clan and their chef, the villain Varang. We explored the forests and the seas of Pandora, but this corner of the planet has a much more sinister feeling.

“Varang is the leader of a people who has gone through an incredible test. She is hardened by that,” The filmmaker James Cameron explained earlier this year. “She will do anything for them, even things that we would consider as a bad.”

“One thing we wanted to do in this film is not to be simplistic in black and white,” He teased. “We are trying to evolve beyond” all humans are bad, all na’vi are a good “paradigm.”

In Avatar: fire and ashJake and Neytiri will meet the “Ash People”, a new Na’vi clan, although few details on the concrete plot have been revealed about what to expect beyond.

The film was shot down with 2022 Avatar: Water path. Cameron had initially planned for them to be a film, but quickly realized that there was too much material and extended the story between the two and three parties (a fourth episode is also underway and planned for the release in 2029, which means that we will have another long expectation after this film).
