Leeds United sought to sign a new striker on the day of the deadline, but missed a Premier League Rival club.

The whites are heading for the first international break of the Premier League season above people like Manchester City and Newcastle United in the table, but Daniel Farke always wanted more signatures before the deadline on Monday.

By collecting four points in the first three games, Leeds has not yet scored a game open in the Premier League, bringing Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to free transfers.
