Lee Zeldin goes scorched earth with blistering response to Jasmine Crockett’s absurd Epstein claim – RedState
Democrats believed that pushing for the release of the information about Epstein would hurt President Donald Trump.
But not only does this not go as they planned, it backfires because it reveals numerous connections between Epstein and the Democrats. Epstein was a big donor to Democrats, including Democratic Delegate Stacey Plaskett (VI), a non-voting member of the House. Epstein also texted her in February 2019 during a congressional hearing to help her against Trump.
Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) came to Plaskett’s defense on the House floor Wednesday, arguing that Republicans received donations from “someone” named Jeffrey Epstein. She listed names including Lee Zeldin, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
“I just want to be clear: If this is the standard that we’re going to set, just know that we’re going to expose everything. And just know that the FEC filings are out there for everyone to review. It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Except, as we pointed out, there was a bit of a problem with that claim. The donations did not come from the famous Jeffrey Epstein. They included donations from a doctor of the same name in New York in 2020, after the death of Jeffrey Epstein in question in 2019.

Crockett takes his pathological antics to another level in Epstein Floor speech
Crockett did not respond when asked by the NY Post to comment on his idiocy. The Post said it found no donations to Zeldin from the notorious Epstein.
But Zeldin did not accept this nonsense; he went scorched earth on Crockett for such a slimy effort.

He said the donation came from a doctor named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, “who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein… NO FREAKIN RELATIONSHIP YOU GENIUS!!!”
He is rightly wronged. How bad are you at basic reading if you can’t see that there is a problem with the claim when some of the donations take place after Epstein’s death in question? This means you don’t care about the truth or fact-checking. It’s just about moving away from the Democrats and trying to attract the Republicans.
Crockett plans to run for Senate. She says she will make her decision by Thanksgiving, but she won’t announce her decision until after the Dec. 8 filing deadline, after verifying the survey she commissioned. She has an inflated opinion of herself. I don’t think she has any chance; I think people in Texas have more common sense.
