It was not her first time to play the role, she also honored the scene as a presenter at the 74th Tony Awards in 2021 and in the 2017 edition.
The prestigious ceremony, which honors excellence in the Broadway theater, will take place with a new wave of excitement, thanks to the presence of stars like Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who both prepare on stage in the planned production of “Waiting for Godot”.

The event will be organized by the actress nominated at the Oscars, Cynthia Erivo, whose theatrical roots and the powerful presence on stage should set a festive tone throughout the evening.

The Tonys will be broadcast on the two coasts on Sunday June 8 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the east / 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific, live from Radio City Music Hall.
