3 people drawn in an active shooter situation when installing Dallas Ice

Dallas – On Wednesday morning, an active shooter situation in an installation by Dallas Ice left three detainees in police custody, with several victims in critical condition, according to the police.

What we know:

According to police sources, the suspect was a sniper on a roof armed with a rifle. The shooter, identified by the police as a white man, died of a self-inflicted head injury to the head as the agents approaches.

The three victims were detainees in police custody. One of the victims was confirmed dead and the police said that three or four others have been shot.

Dozens of police units and several ambulances were observed near the establishment of the I-35th near the central Empire.

The investigation is underway.

The total number of victims is currently not clear.

It is not known if the suspect was on the roof of the ice building or a nearby building.

Threat of bomb in the installation of ice in August

An individual was arrested at the end of August for threatening the ice officers of what the individual claimed to be a “detonator” on the wrist in Dallas, Texas.

On Monday, August 25, 2025, the federal protection service reported a threat of bomb against an ice installation in Dallas. The installation houses the Dallas field office of the ICE as well as the application and dismissal operations.

A man identified as Bratton Dean Wilkinson, 36, arrived at the entrance to the Dallas field office reports and said he had a bomb in his backpack around 6:37 p.m.

Wilkinson showed the security agent what he claimed to be a “detonator” on the wrist, who issued a shelter in place for installation. The officer called 911 and the local police responded with a team of bombs.

Wilkinson was placed in police custody by local police and accused of terrorist threats.
