Lauren James and Michelle Agyemang include Squad for Euro 2025 England in England 2025

Lauren James was included today in the England team for the next European championship.
The Chelsea striker has not played since he suffered an injury to the hamstrings for the duty of the lioness against Belgium in April, but he was required to prove his physical form by being named in the group of 23 players of Sarina Wiegman for the tournament which begins on July 2.
James was a key element of the England team who reached the World Cup final in 2023 and went to Switzerland with Michelle Agyemang, 19.

AGYEMANG, who is loaned to Brighton d’Arsenal, obtained a sign of the head on the most experienced Nikita Parris after marked 41 seconds after his beginnings in England against the Belgians at Ashton Gate.
It was about fifteen difficult for Weigman and England
The team’s name will be a relief for Weigman, who saw three experienced players become unavailable last week.
Mary Earps and Fran Kirby both announced their international retirement while the half-center Millie Bright withdrew from restraint due to mental and physical fatigue.
On Bright, Wiegman said: “In the past few days, I discovered it – we were in conversation. It’s sad, it’s disappointing. As I said last week, it’s not nice and I hope she feels very soon.”
And on Kirby and Earps, the Dutchman added: “They have done so much for us, so much for England, for English football. They have been playing the tournaments since I am here, so it’s difficult to replace. But there are also other players who have done very well and now these players have the opportunity to withdraw. So, you must also pass.”
Take James not a risk
England is the reigning European champions and among the favorites to raise the crown again.
James’ contribution could be essential if the lionesses have to go to the end and Wiegman denied that the 23 -year -old woman was a risk.
“It’s not a risk,” she said. “She trains very well in her club and she is when we hoped that she would be at this stage. She continues to progress and I hope that when she will enter the camp, she can train with us and continue to progress towards the first match of July 5. We do not see it as a risk, we build it.”
