The Democratic Party finally says the calm part aloud: “Biden should not have run again.”
The revelations on the cognitive decline of President Joe Biden and the alleged concealment of his administration returned to the national conversation before the next week of the anchor of CNN Jake Tapper and the political correspondent Axios Alex Thompson, “Original Sin: President Biden, his concealment, and his disastrous choice to run again”.

Wednesday, when he was pressed by Martha MacCallum on “The Story” on the campaign for Biden in 2024, Khanna said that he had not had the complete image of Biden’s health and mental acuity before his disastrous debate performance, but he admitted: “We must be honest as we made a mistake.”

O’Rourke took Khanna’s call for democratic responsibility a little further on “Pod Save America” this week, calling Biden’s decision to present himself to the re -election in 2024 a “terrible error”.
“Just to be clear: Biden should not have run again. And to be even clearer: he failed this country in the most important work he had,” said O’Rourke.

An extract from the book of Tapper and Thompson published by Axios this week revealed that the drop in the health of Biden was “so serious that there were internal discussions on the wheelchair, but they could only do it after the elections.”
With hindsight, Khanna and O’Rourke agreed that the Democrats should have had the opportunity to launch their own presidential offers. And now that President Donald Trump has returned to the White House, and an already crowded area of potential democratic candidates 2028 is thinking about presidential campaigns, they said it was important to take responsibility for 2024.
“Obviously, there should have been an open primary. And, I do not think that it is very difficult that the Democrats were immediately that he should not have run, now that we have all the facts. There should have been an open primary. I think to go to something else and go ahead, it is important to take responsibility and be simple with the American people,” said Khanna.
O’Rourke declared that the future of America could be in the “” equilibrium “in part because of the decision that Biden, and those around it, have made the re -election instead of having an open primary where the greatest talent that the Democratic Party can bring together could be on this stage to have a competition of ideas, and a track record and a vision and really excite, but the people of this country who wanted.

The candidate for the Democratic presidential formerly-2020, who is 52, said that the failure of Biden of the Democrat creates a problem of credibility.
“I think the problem of credibility will persist until the Democrats say:” We have made a terrible mistake “,” said O’Rourke.

Another young Democrat and former national security adviser from Biden, Jake Sullivan, continued to defend his former boss at the Safety Summit in Politico, rejecting an allegation according to which Biden had forgotten his name and defending his management of Commander -in -Chief.

“What happened in this debate was a shock for me,” admitted Sullivan. “I think it was a shock for everyone.”
A Biden spokesperson did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
