Prisca Chilufya scored halfway in the second half to help the Orlando Pride to get a 1-1 draw with the Royals of Utah visiting.
The pride (8-4-2, 26 points) is 3-1-1 in their last five games.
The Royals (1-10-3, 6 points) are without victory in their last nine (0-7-2).
Chilufya pulled the level of Orlando in the 72nd minute. Simone Jackson managed the ball on a race in the left side before sending a cross in the box for a chilufya looking. The Zambia jostled in the ball and, with goalkeeper Mia Justus, during his beginnings at the NWSL, out of her line, quickly put it in the open net.
Mina Tanaka almost won her second goal from the match to put Utah in front of two minutes later with a distance strike that folded right next to the crossbar and above the net.
Justus kept the match even in the 76th minute, heading in front of a strike from the left foot of Chilufya after Chulufya and Barbra Banda ran in 2 against 2.
Tanaka gave Utah an advance from 1-0 to the fourth minute. Kaleigh Riehl pushed the ball into the midfield for Tanaka, who then made some progress before shooting a strike outside the box at the top of the net.
The Royals had more possibilities during the first 45 minutes, managing four shots, three on the target, before the match was interrupted for more than half an hour due to lightning in the region with five remaining minutes in the frame.
Orlando had only one shot after the first half, and three attempts in total, to finish with 15 shots and six shots on goal. Utah recorded eight shots, five on the target.
