Las Vegas Hotel Chamber Prices are mixed reactions among tourists

Las Vegas (KSNV) – While Las Vegas is struggling with a summer tourism crisis, visitors express mixed opinions on the affordability of hotel room prices.
Valentine Georgina, visit to San Francisco, described her recent trip to celebrate her birthday on the strip like “Dear, very expensive”. She said: “I have already been here and it was totally different. Everything was completely different. Regarding prices. Regarding the purchase of food. Regarding the Comps.”
On the other hand, David Allen, a tourist from London, said: “We come here every year because it is such a good deal.” He added: “We take advantage of extremely inexpensive and very very good standard hotels – and food, everything that goes with it seems cheaper here than everywhere else.”
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the average daily rate on the band last July was $ 164 at night, or $ 9 in July 2023.
Center-city prices also had a drop of $ 9 compared to the same period in 2023.
Alan Feldman, a long-standing game director of the International Institute of Game of the UNLV, advised travelers to “do your own research” and noted that even costly rooms on weekends can be much cheaper during the week. “For Las Vegas, even these expensive pieces on weekends can be half the price during or less. So be flexible,” he said.
The average daily rate of the band on the band for all 2023 was $ 204.42, while during the first seven months of 2025, it amounted to $ 203.78, a difference of only 64 cents.
Feldman stressed the importance of international visitors, declaring: “International visitors are really, really critical for not only Las Vegas, really for the United States, because international visitors tend to come, to stay a little longer and, frankly, to spend a little more.”
Feldman also underlined the impact of inflation and the slowdown in international visitors to hotels prices, which suggests that the perception of value can vary depending on tourists.
