Lamine Yamal scored his first goal at Camp Nou as Barcelona equalized after being stunned by a Pablo Ibanez goal in the first minute.
The Catalan club were hoping to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday.
But for Hansi Flick’s men, the start could not have been more disastrous, conceding in the first minute when Ibanez scored from close range for the visitors following a corner.
The lead, however, only lasted a little over five minutes. Pounced on a loose ball across the Alavez box, the 18-year-old lofted an effort high into the net from just yards out to put the hosts back on level terms.
If the result remains as it is, Barcelona would go top of La Liga on goal difference, even though they have played one more game than fierce rivals Real Madrid, who face Girona tomorrow.
