Liverpool could be about to give up the continuation of the transfer of the Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak, after seeing a rejected offer.
According to a surprise assertion of the BBC Sport, the Reds now seem to think that an agreement for Isak could be impossible this summer, Newcastle holding 150 million pounds sterling for the Swedish international.
The report says Liverpool has seen an offer of 110 million pounds Sterling rejected by Newcastle, and it seems that the champions of the Premier League no longer continue this.
Although it seems slightly surprising that Liverpool makes a big offer but does not go further, it now seems that this agreement can indeed be disabled.
What is the next step for Alexander Isak after failing Liverpool offers?
Isak is one of the most beautiful central versions of world football and was a dream signature for Liverpool.
It is perhaps only a LFC negotiation tactic, which may think that they are in a strong position due to Isak currently AWOL of the Newcastle pre-season team.
Sky Sports has been one of the points of sale to note that the 25 -year -old is currently training with his former Real Sociedad club because he seems determined to leave Newcastle.
If Isak continues to push like that, then Liverpool might think that it will force Newcastle to finally lower its requested price and accept more realistic costs.
Does Liverpool even need Alexander Isak?
Liverpool has already signed Hugo Ekitike as a new striker this summer, so the strong interest in adding Isak too is perhaps a little surprising.
At the same time, however, Isak is a tried premier league and one of the best in the world, while Ekitike is probably more considered a player for the future.
If someone like Isak is serious about the move, it is logical for Liverpool to see if he can conclude an agreement, because he would undoubtedly take the side of Arne Slot in a level.
