Kylian Mbappe marks as the Xabi Alonso era begins with victory

Real Madrid began its La Liga campaign with a victory as a Kylian Mbappe penalty against Osasuna inaugurated in the Xabi Alonso era in the Bernabeu.
Mbappe, top scorer last season in the league, resumed where he stopped when he won, then converted the kick in a match which, despite the narrow score, Los Blancos was rarely disturbed.
Alonso made his debut on the Summer Signatures Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Alvaro Carreras and for a large part of the procedures dominated by Madrid.
But in Osasuna, Los Blancos encountered a side resolved in defense. Despite the share of the lion of possession and intention of attack, the hosts did not seem to find the breakthrough.
Madrid’s best chance of half-time came from an improbable source. Defender Eder Militao let fly at 35 yards, but his fierce strike was well saved by goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.
History books, however, have firmly pointed out in favor of reality. Not for 16 season, they tasted defeat in their opening league match, and they were not overthrown by Osasuna during their last 20 Leliga meetings.
And so it looked like a case of normality resumed when, five minutes after the break, Mbappe was brought back to the box by Juan Cruz after the rhythmic striker Ait Bamboué bamboo.
The Frenchman has happened again to send the penalty and give his team a deserved lead.
A little over 10 minutes later, it was almost two years when a fine Arda Guller strike at 22 meters zipped just above the transverse bar.
But Osasuna, who had offered the whole match very little in the future, got closer to tear him away late when Dangerman Ante Bumimir hosted his head just above the bar at 85 minutes.
The frustration on the part of visitors has finally boiled deeply in stoppage when Abel Bretones raised an arm and pushed an forearm towards the substitute for Madrid Gonzalo Garcia.
The action encouraged the referee Adrian CordeRo to brandish a right red card while Madrid rightly made the three points.
