Kyle Larson unscathed in a violent sprint car accident

Nascar star Kyle Larson escaped without injury from a violent accident on Friday evening in a sprint car race in Wisconsin.
The former champion of the Cup series was second in a race world Outlaws at the Plymouth Dirt Track when his winged vehicle overturned at the end before slamming in the capture fence.

Larson, 32, who was able to leave the car unscathed, said the right rear axle “or something” broke.
“It launched me a little, and I was in the race,” he said, according to Motorsport.com. “Bummer, but I really felt good to punctuate Rico (Abreu) there and I finally managed to traffic and run there. Happy that I am well, big blow but overall, it’s okay.”
In addition to racing cars and sprint cars, Larson also participated in Indianapolis 500 in each of the last two years.
