‘Kuldeep Yadav should leave India’ – Twitter tears apart Gautam Gambhir’s repeated neglect

Despite India’s failure in the first match against Australia, the Indians opted to leave expert spinner Kuldeep Yadav out of the Indian XI for the second ODI in Adelaide. They instead insisted on Harshit Rana remaining in the XI for an extended period of time.

The first ODI in Perth saw Australian bowlers dominate India on a track unfit for batting; however, the Australians batted with great ease, with little threat posed in front of them by the Men in Blue bowlers. Indian youngster Harshit Rana played his first ODI match in Australia and made no impact in the match.

After the initial heavy loss, the Indians were under pressure to make some changes to their XI; the strongest of these claims was about expert spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who has been India’s best in white-ball formats in recent years.

Kuldeep Yadav snubbed again for second ODI

India entered Adelaide unchanged, and Shubman Gill once again lost the toss and was pushed into batting first by Mitchell Marsh, the Australian skipper. However, Gill’s announcement of no changes in the playing XI was what irked Indian fans the most.

Loud cheers were calling for Kuldeep Yadav’s return to ODI playing XI as several fans, as well as former cricketers, claimed that a bowler of Kuldeep’s stature would be a no-brainer in any team except India under new coach Gautam Gambhir.

Virat Kohli returns to his favorite Australian venue at the Adelaide Oval

The Indian legend scored many runs in Australia, with the best batting performance coming in the Adelaide stands. Unlike other tracks, he stunned in Adelaide with an average of 60 and scored 975 runs in all three formats of the game.

With 5 centuries at the Adelaide Oval, Virat Kohli has been a promising batter throughout his career and averages over 60 in ODIs. But this time Virat failed again in his international comeback. As Xavier Bartlett lobbed a delivery towards his pads, Kohli missed it completely and the umpire was quick to raise his fingers.

This is Kohli’s second duck for Australia in ODIs and his first ever in Adelaide. Is this a sign of a possible end coming to the Indian legend’s career?
