Spontaneous escapes: basic rules

Singapore Airlines shows spontaneous escape escapes under a special Promotion category. This is the one you need to select when you make your reservation (and if that does not appear, it means that there is no availability – although this does not prevent it from reappearing later, then come back often).

Before spontaneous and spontaneous escapes, there was a subset of economy awards. This has created a problem, namely that if you research To reserve a regular saving price (because it comes with a cancellation option, unlike the Spontaneous Escapes Awards), you could not really do it!

Now that spontaneous escapes are a separate category for themselves, you have the freedom to choose to pay the prices of regular savings if you wish (thus appreciating additional flexibility).
To understand the differences between the three types of prices, see the article below.
Krisflyer promo, Saver and Advantage Awards: What is the difference?
Spontaneous exhausts are strictly non-confident and non-creative. Since no concession is made for travelers who cannot fly due to the disease, it is on you to buy travel insurance that covers miles and points reservations.
What if you have an existing price?
If you have already kept a confirmed price on a flight which is now under spontaneous escapes, you will have to:
- Book the spontaneous escape rate
- Cancel the existing reservation and pay the fees of redespositions ($ 75 US to saver, US $ 50 for advantage)
I strongly recommend doing so in this order, in case the spontaneous reward space of exhausts disappears in the meantime. This means that you will need sufficient kilometers, of course.
Depending on your chance, Miles can be recredited immediately to your account, but can take up to 4 to 6 weeks. If you need it urgently, the CSO can apply to speed up the process, but YMMV.
Conclusion
The spontaneous escapes of Singapore Airlines for September 2025 were released, with a discount of 40% larger than usual.
However, you will have to make your decisions more quickly this month, because the 40% discount only lasts until the end of the day on August 17, 2025. After that, it returns to the regular discount of 30% until the end of August.
What will you reserve for spontaneous escapes?
