Knicks, 76ers explore Abu Dhabi before pre-season pre-season

The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers are in Abu Dhabi for a pre-season double fence from Thursday.

The trip marks the fourth year of the NBA matches in the United Arab Emirates, with measures held at Etihad Arena on Yas d’Abu Dhabi Island and the match marking one of the seven international games in the NBA in the pre-season season and regular season.

From the visit of the desert to the golf series, the 76ers and the Knicks were very busy before facing each other.

Here are the best scenes from Abu Dhabi 2025 games.

The teams touch Abu Dhabi

The Knicks and the 76ers received a warm welcome in Abu Dhabi. They were greeted by the singing of the inhabitants and a quick drink. Knicks coach Mike Brown released his phone to record the festivities while the Knicks Landry Shamet goalkeeper wore a falcon, just like Tyrese Maxey from Philadelphia and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Take the Abu Dhabi desert

Not different from Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves two years ago, the Knicks made a trip to the desert. Patrick Ewing and Og Anunoby were one of the knicks to get on a camel, while Josh Hart held on a hawk.

Postcard photo for 76ers

The large Sheikh Zayed mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world and was the perfect backdrop for a Philadelphia team photo. He bears the name of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the water.

Work on the Greens

Being on another continent did not prevent the 76ers head coach, Nick Nurse and goalkeeper Kyle Lowry from doing work on their golf swings.

Knicks becomes artistic

Cool streetwear and kicks are one thing, but personalizing them is another story. New York has taken time with young fans to draw and color sneakers.
