Indian opener KL Rahul was in agony after Jayden Seales’ poor delivery hit him on the box. Rahul was surprised by the sudden bounce and the ball hit him directly in the box. The physiotherapist rushed to see the player groaning in pain.
India eventually managed to dismiss the West Indies batters for a score of 390 in their second innings after suffering a follow-up in the first when they were bowled out for just 248 runs. It was their best batting innings so far, falling two and a half centuries behind their batters for the first time in this series.
The Indian openers came chasing the target of 121 in the final session of Day 3. Yashasvi Jaiswal came in alongside KL Rahul, and Jaiswal looked eager to win the match on Day 4 itself.

KL Rahul groans in pain after being panicked by lower body blow
Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed early after smashing two maiden fours in the first over of the innings; the batter fell to Jomel Warrican, handing control of the Indian innings to his partner Rahul.
Jayden Seales came up with his second innings against KL Rahul. Rahul played a signature shot on the pads, and the ball raced towards the fence towards the back square leg boundary.
The next ball, the pacer pulled his length back slightly as the little extra carry kept the batter guessing, and the ball bounced more than expected and ended up hitting Rahul straight on the surface. The blow was violent as the striker fell to the ground and groaned in extreme pain.
