Kim Kardashian launches the first Nikeskims collection with female athletes

On Monday, September 22, the magnate unveiled the first collection of Nikeskims, a new brand created in partnership with Nike. The line includes seven collections and 58 silhouettes, offering more than 10,000 ways to combine the parts, according to a press release.

“Built from Nike’s unrivaled relationship with the approach of athletes and skiing solutions, Nikeskims offers what no other brand can: a new aesthetic and a new dress system, obsessed with the body, from the studio to the gymnasium and beyond,” said the version.

The campaign comes to life in the first Nikeskims film, Bodies at workDirected by the filmmaker Janicza Bravo and with more than 50 athletes from the whole Nike portfolio, including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles, Chloe Kim, Manisen Skinner, Romane Dicko, Beatriz Hatz and Nelly Korda, as well as Kardashian, 44.

“It looks like butter on your skin,” said Williams, 43, about the collection via the press release. “I feel unstoppable when I train.”

Richardson, 25, shared: “The wearing of Nikeskims makes me feel confident and without restriction. I feel fierce knowing that I can seem and feel good while working hard.”

Speak with VogueKardashian said that a partnership between Skims and Nike “made sense”.

“Skims is very body oriented – we make swimsuits, living room clothes, shape kits – so our next development was that we really wanted to do sports clothes,” she said. “Our dream was to work with Nike: their heritage, innovation and the ideas of athletes – it was the perfect thing to mix with the gaps and our dedication to the female form.”

The founder has also said that the collection will include inclusive dimensioning ranging from XXs to 4x, and prices ranging from $ 38 to $ 148.

“I really wanted to make sure there was something for everyone,” she said at the point of sale. “The scams and Nike have really inclusive sizing, so we wanted to make sure that we would be a large size, and that everyone can feel good in what they wear.”

The first launch of Nikeskims consists of three base collections which will be updated season after season.

The Matte collection offers 21 styles with intermediate level compression, the Shine collection offers 11 styles with a subtle shine and an extensible sensation and the airy collection offers seven knitted pieces inspired by the net inspiration.

The first launch of Nikeskims also includes four seasonal collections to complete the basic clothes: seamless vintage mate knitting, weightless layers and brilliant nylon.

“You can wear some of the rooms at night and look really great, or there are strictly casual parts to train,” said Kardashian Vogue. “I wanted people to feel like there was something for everyone.”
