Animation Predator The film focuses on three different stories that take place over hundreds of years when humans have fought Yautja on earth. But, a surprise comes like Naru to Prey Appears in a Pod Cryo in the final scene.
During an interview Screen“S Joe Deck Gring for Predator: Killer killer“Released, the Dan Trachtenberg co -director was asked how Naru was present in this story. Prey took place in 1719, which placed it at least two hundred years before the film’s peak, which raises questions about the way Naru appears. Trachtenberg explains that time travel is not involved, because Naru was taken from his original time and “Put in the stasis.” She is one of the captives that could one day fight in the arenas of Yautja. Then Troachtenberg: “I mean, I would clearly say that it is not a time trip. They do not travel in time. This is the advantage of the cryo pod – they are torn from their period and then put in stasis, then were unleashed when they are decided for the delicious entertainment of this evening.”
What Cameo de Naru means for Predator: Killer of Killers & The Franchise’s Future
His status has completely changed
The reason for the presence of Naru in Predator: Killer killer is due to the way Prey ends. The previous film of Trachtenberg in the franchise saw the character of Midthunder Kill the Yautja who hunted her. She apparently had a happy ending by saving the Comanche tribe, but PreyCredits have teased that it was not the end of its history. An animated sequence showed the extraterrestrials returning to earth, with more of them this time. Reason, known to Predator: Killer killerhad to capture someone who managed to kill a Yautja.
The animated film explains that the extraterrestrials will regularly remove anyone who manages to defeat one of their own. Trachtenberg’s comments confirm that The Yautja captures Naru after Prey and put it in a pod cryo. She is seen in Killers Among thousands of pods that now also include URSA. Naru remains frozen on the birthplace of Yautja while the extraterrestrials wait to wake her up at the time of their choice.
Naru Cameo Predator: Killer killer is supposed to tease what could happen in the future. The revelation of the animated film is sure to take into account what then comes in the series, whether it is Predator: Badlands – which comes out in a few months – or other projects would have been in development – as Prey 2. Naru may not be the only familiar character in the past Predator Films that are stuck in one of these Cryo pods either.
Our point of view on Naru’s predator: Killer of Killers Cameo
Prey 2 will be completely different from the one planned
With Naru like this is one of the greatest cameo opportunities Predator: Killer killer could have delivered, secondly to the reference of the Dutchman of Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is clearly a suspicion of what Trachtenberg plans for the future of the franchise, but it is nevertheless an exciting development. This opens the possibility that Naru appears at different times in the chronologyperhaps Predator: Badlands If she is still in the stasis during the future film.
More specifically, this sets the basics of Prey 2 To be a film completely different from what I expected. The common thought was that the rest would take place again in the 1700s and would display Naru’s fight with the Yautja on their return. Now that we know that she ends up captivating extraterrestrials, it would make sense to Prey 2 To collect the story of Naru after the events of Predator: Killer killer. Having her fights out of the Yautja arena would not look like anything as she had to receive.
