KFC potato corners come back to the menu as part of the chain return plan

Kfc Recently announced plans To forge a return after losing market share against several chicken competitors. Stage of this plan? Report potatoes and hot and spicy wings.
In response to consumer demand, KFC will bring back corners and wings from August 18 in the country’s restaurants. They are available during last supplies.
The hot and spicy wings, for the first time in almost two years, have a spicy marinade with a double by hand in the additional KFC crisp flour.
KFC teased the return of the corners with a surprise drop in the Tampa, Florida, market in MarchAnd exhausted in certain restaurants. The offer was introduced for the first time in the mid -1990s and abandoned in 2020 to make room for secret revenue fries. The fries will remain on the menu.
“Corner lovers, we have heard to you – and we agree that it’s been five long years without corners. But the wait is over,” KFC president Catherine Tan -Gillespie said in a statement. “It is not only a nostalgic sign of a head. This is an example of how we transform feedback into action while we trace our fried return from Kentucky, a broadband gathering to give people more reasons to fall back with us again.”
Customers can order corners for themselves, replace any side of the corners or try them as part of a new wings and shit of six rooms provided with an average drink. A box of $ 20 fans of wings and corners is also available, including 10 hot and spicy wings, chicken nuggets of 12 kfc, potato quarters, four cookies and four soaking sauces.
KFC also offers other offers for the start of the school year and football, including the chicken sandwich for $ 3.99, 20 wings for $ 20 and $ 10 on Tuesdays, with eight pieces of fried chicken or original recipes for $ 10.
KFC’s “Comeback” campaign was launched in July. As part of the campaign, the chain offered free chicken buckets for digital orders while requesting comments on how “to recover our legitimate place in the fried chicken game that we started,” said Tan-Gillespie.
“The colonel would not be satisfied on our market share, and we are serious to remind America exactly who we are: the game changer with an implacable pursuit of the best fried chicken. We will not smile before our customers do it,” she said in a press release.
KFC had a difficult 2024, with sales down 5.2%, according to Technomic data. The chain was jumped by increasing the rods in the process, which increased sales by 32% from one year to the next, while the Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A rivals increased by almost 4% and 5.4%, respectively. KFC comparable stores have decreased less in the first quarter of 2025, down only 1%, but progress was hampered in the second second quarter, with -5%sales.
