“We’re going to be such a good team.” Prime Video has revealed the official trailer for an action comedy titled Reading datedirected by Luke Greenfield as his latest sequel to Half-brothers a few years ago. This is slated for a streaming release in November just before Thanksgiving arrives, completely skipping theaters for a streaming-only release. An afternoon of play between two stay-at-home dads (Kevin James And Alan Ritchon) turns into high-stakes mayhem. Director Luke Greenfield (Let’s be cops, girl next door) hilariously confronts life as a suburban dad with thrills, transforming an ordinary afternoon into an absurd, action-packed adventure where minivan mayhem meets professional hitmen. With Ritchson & James, Reading date stars Sarah Chalke, Alan Tudyk, Benjamin Tax, Pierce Banks, Hiro Kanagawawith Stephen Racine And Fisher Island. A fun comedy for dads of all ages. Luckily this isn’t playing in theaters because it looks like a schlock Saturday Night TV special. But it will still make some people laugh.
