Kerry Washington in season 2 of the prophecy “: date of first on audible

Kerry Washington is back to (hope) save the world in season 2 of “The Prophecy”.
The second episode of the original audible drama inspired by the Bible “The Prophecy” – in a backdrop of mysterious supernatural and intrigue omens – should be presented on Thursday, September 25, exclusively of audible. More information is available via this link.
In season 2 of the audio thriller, producer and winner actor of an Emmy Washington (“Scandal”, “The Six Triple Eight”, “Django Unchained”) again serves as executive producer and resumes his role as Dr Virginia Edwards. She is joined by new distribution members, notably Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”, “The Residence”) and Dulé Hill (“Psych”, “The West Wing”).
“Season 2 of ‘The Prophecy’ extends the world of the series in a way that will turn fans of the first season as well as new listeners!” Washington said in a statement. “It is so exciting to be able to return to the character of Virginia Edwards and to join this spectacular All-Star Cast while we take this new chapter in our history.”
In season 1, which was published in 2022, Dr. Virginia Edwards of Washington faced assassination attempts and unexplained natural disasters – and a vision that she is the Virgin Mary. Season 2 finds her with the revelation that her son Joshua could be the key to the future of humanity. As she finds her husband, a new threat emerges: the billionaire Luther Bell (Esposito), the head of a cult chasing his family. Guided by disturbing omens, Virginia has only one month to decode the meaning of the prophecy and stop the rise of Bell. According to the logline: “While Virginia rushes against time, she realizes that faith could be the only thing that stands between the world and the disaster.”
The Cast of “The Prophecy” Season 2 Includes Returning Performing Alano Miller (“Cherish the Day,” “Underground”) and New Cast Members Rhenzy Feliz (“The Penguin,” “Runaways”), Ebony Obsidian (“If Beale Street Could Talk,” “The Six Triple Eight”) Ikwuakor (“Ink,” “On My Block”), Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community,” “The Odd Couple”), Annie Gonzalez (“Flamin ‘Hot”, “Gente-Fied”), Guillermo Diaz (“Scandal”, “Half Baked”), Crystal Fox (“In the heat of the night”, “The has notes”) Roz Stanley (“Girl, Chill”. “Classified”).
The creator and EP Randy McKinnon of “The Prophecy” returns for season 2. The show is produced by Audible, the Washington Simpson Production House and the Podcast Qcode production house. The second season is led by Malakai (“The Chi”) and written by Diandra Pendleton-Thompson (“Star-Trek: Prodigy”).
Last year, Amazon MGM Studios announced that it was developing a television series based on “The Prophecy” alongside other audible projects.
About season 2 of the audio series, McKinnon said that he “delivers everything that fans were waiting for – higher issues, an explosive drama and an extended” prophecy “universe that presents new fascinating characters and scenarios. Season 2 of “The Prophecy” joins the Audible slate of scripted originals, notably “1984” by George Orwell, interpreted by Andrew Garfield, Cynthia Erivo, Andrew Scott and Tom Hardy; “The Big Fix: A Jack Bergin Mystery”, interpreted by Jon Hamm, Ana de la Reguera and Alia Shawkat; “The nest of the boar”, interpreted by Mandy Moore and Ebon Moss-Bachrach; And “The Safe Man”, interpreted by Jack Quaid and Titus Welliver.
