Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos have a black bathroom with matching toilet paper (exclusive)

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are aimed at an unusual characteristic of their house.

During an exclusive interview with people on the set of their day talk show, Living with Kelly and MarkOn Tuesday, September 2, the couple revealed that they had a completely black bathroom – with matching black toilet paper.

“Someone – as a gift, like a joke – said you need black toilet paper in this black bathroom,” said Ripa, 54.

“And you know what? It looks normal because the white toilet paper was the thing that looked really strange,” she adds.

Consuelos, however, did not agree.

“I will say, it does not seem normal”, All my children Alum, also 54, says.

Ripa then sounded: “No one really uses these toilets”, encouraging her husband to answer: “I have.”

“Well, there you go,” replied Ripa, adding, “I didn’t use black toilet fabrics. I just like its appearance. It mixes in the wall.”

Elsewhere in their conversation with people, the couple shared that their locker room on the Live The sets received fun names, which, according to Ripa, was “Mark’s idea”.

“Lucy and Desi”, reveals Consuelos. “Desi is guy’s bathroom, Lucy is girls.”

Ripa adds: “There is like a Lucy and a Desi, and he likes it. This is what he named our changing rooms. It’s pretty cool.”

Last year, Ripa and Consuelos, who share three children – his daughter Lola, 24, and his sons Michael, 28, and Joaquin, 22 years old – took fans in their town hall in New York during a video tour with Architectural digestion.

In the video, Ripa said that the townhouse, where the family has lived for over 12 years, is their “favorite place on earth”.

“We have moved several times in our lives, but it doesn’t matter where we are going, for me, is my house forever,” said Ripa, showing the couple’s primary room of the couple. “When I entered here, I said to myself:” It’s the last place I will live. I love this house so much.

By referring to the large mirror on the wall in front of their bed, Consuelos said: “And don’t think we are crazy to put a mirror in front of our bed. He hides a television.”

Ripa then joked, “Yeah, we don’t look at each other. We look Judge Judy here. “”

Reiterating her love for the house, Ripa said during the tour she and Consuelos never intended to leave.

“I don’t want to seem morbid,” she said, “but they will have to get me out of the feet of the first because I became good and comfortable in this house.”

This year, Ripa celebrates his 25th season with Live. During her conversation with people on the set, she recalled that Consuelos had told her behind the scenes before the first of season 38 of Tuesday, “it does not seem so many seasons”.

Consuelos joined the show as co-host of his wife in April 2023, replacing Ryan Seacrest, who had co-organized by Ripa for six seasons from 2017.

Looking back on his journey so far to LiveRipa tells people that there have been “so many” happy memories – especially the moments when she and the children of Consuelos visited the set.

“I have in a way this living newspaper of their lives,” she notes.
