Kelly Clarkson postponed the opening evening of her residence in Las Vegas, shortly before the event was to start on Friday evening.
The singer-songwriter went to Instagram to share the news, noting that the performance had been postponed due to vocal problems.
“We worked 24/7 to make studio sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” she wrote in a Friday article. “I am more than grateful to present to you for me and I am devastated to have to postpone this evening and the opening of tomorrow in Caesars. The preparation and rehearsals have wreaked havoc on my voice. ”
THE American idol The winner continued: “I want the shows to be perfect for you and I have to protect myself from serious damage, so I take this weekend and next week to rest so that we can deliver what you deserve. The show is really incredible. The musicians and the singers are exceptional, and I want us to start strong.”
Clarkson canceled the set of the show for Friday and Saturday, but noted at the end of her statement that she “can’t wait to return next weekend and show you what we worked on”.
Before making this announcement, she posted a photo of her on stage during the rehearsals for the big event. “Tonight !! #opningnight #StudiosessionS #vegasrehearsals,” she wrote on Instagram.
His residence in Las Vegas, entitled Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions, was announced earlier this year in February. Holding at the Colosseum of the Palais de Caesars, the full residence was to be made up of 18 variable shows in mid-November.
