Kelly Clarkson postpones an opening of Vegas residence to avoid “ serious damage ” in his voice

A few hours before going to stage, Kelly Clarkson was forced to postpone the start of her residence in Las Vegas to “protect me from making serious damage,” she told fans on Friday.
In a shared message via Instagram, Clarkson explained: “We worked 24/7 to make studio sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans. I am more than grateful to always present to you for me and I am devastated to have to postpone this evening and to open tomorrow in Caesars, ”she started.
“The preparation and rehearsals have wreaked havoc on my voice. I want the shows to be perfect for all of you and I need to protect myself from serious damage, so I take this weekend and next week to rest so that we can deliver what you deserve. The show is really incredible.”
“The musicians and singers are exceptional, and I want us to start strong.
I can’t wait to return next weekend and show you what we worked on, ”concluded Clarkson.
The singer announced the residence in February. Eighteen performances are planned as part of Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – The Las Vegas Residency. The performance series is now starting on July 11 and continues until August 16, then continues from November 7 to November 15. It is not yet known when the programs initially scheduled for this weekend will be reprogrammed.
The reactions of the fans have been mixed, many of which citing the financial impact of the postponement, in particular the reimbursements are not granted because the emissions have not been technically canceled, only postponed.
“I am a big fan and I went here from Boston spending thousands of tickets and hotels to see your show tomorrow for my 40th anniversary. I really want you to be healthy, but that the cancellation of this delay has a huge financial impact on your faithful fans,” wrote a fan.
Another wrote: “We spent a lot of money so that you can literally cancel 30 minutes before the spectacle time. Many of us cannot afford to travel to Las Vegas, take off and pay the hotels. Ticketmaster does not reimburse either because you have postponed instead of canceling.
Others support Clarkson’s decision. “When you sing live, you have the grace. Rest this incredible instrument,” wrote a fan. “When Adele canceled, we have always spent an incredible time. Respect to take care of you,” said another.
